From the Director of the Office of Commuter
Affairs
Dear Commuting Student:
Welcome to the official website for the Office
of Commuter Affairs at Duquesne University. As
a commuting student you are part of a very large
and diverse group of students. Duquesne recognizes
that commuting students face many challenges and
have special needs. In an effort to support and
assist all commuter students Duquesne established
the Office of Commuter Affairs in 1986. While
Duquesne is not the only University to have an
office specifically geared towards serving commuter
students, we believe that our program is one of
the very best in the country. One example of Duquesne's
commitment to commuter students was the creation
of a Commuter Center that officially opened in
the fall of 1997. The Commuter Center is truly
a "home away from home" for many of
our commuting students.

Looking for a ride or maybe you can give
someone a ride?
Check out the Rideshare e-board available now
on Blackboard. The Blackboard Learning System
is accessible to the entire Duquesne community
-- students, faculty, adjuncts, administrators,
and staff. Follow the instructions below to obtain
your Blackboard login information.
To Login into Blackboard, You
Must Have Initialized Your MultiPass Account:
To initialize your Multipass account,
please visit www.duq.edu/multipass . A new window
or tab will open for you to complete your Multipass
initialization. To initialize your MultiPass account,
you must be a registered Duquesne student or a
Duquesne employee.
Accessing the Rideshare Page: Log into your Blackboard
Account www.blackboard.duq.edu
then click on the My Communities tab at the top
of the page. Next, under the Organization catalog,
select University Services, then select SGA-Rideshare
Board. Finally click enroll.
